There was this rumor going around a few years ago about some
"Prequels" to the Star Wars movies. Were there ever any plans
for new Star Wars?

If there was going to be a prequel or two made, I'd love to see
some kind of goofy, orange space-frog who might bumble through
the Star Wars universe. If at all possible, I'd really enjoy it if
this space-frog could engage in some Roger-Rabbit/Mr. Magoo
antics, saving the galaxy with unintended accidents (like getting
it's leg caught on some kind of fighting robot's torso, and whenever
our hero slapstickilly tried to free himself in a CGI fit of
cowardice, the blaster would go off and shoot various other robots.)

Wouldn't that rock? And are they ever going to do a Special Edition for
Empire & Jedi?

Someone PLEASE educate me!
